The most recent issue of Foreign Language Annals (vol 54,2) contains a series of papers dealing with my work. One of the articles is my response to their (very positive) comments. The title: “Why Don’t Educators, Scholars, and the Media Pay Attention to the Research? Comments on Lichtman and VanPatten”
IRONY: My article says that one reason people «don’t pay attention to the research» is the expense. The download fee for my article is an outrageous $42. By the way, the publisher gets the money, not the author.
